| Partnering with Pencil |
|
Pencil believes in partnership. We think that by working openly and closely with others that have the relevant expertise, we can bring the most benefit. First and foremost, Pencil believes in partnering with the rural poor themselves. We strongly welcome any comments, ideas or questions from those that live in rural communities or those that represent them. We are always looking for partners from rural communities, whether that be individuals who wish to bring SECONDVOICE into their community, community groups who can articulate a need they'd like Pencil to help address, or organisations serving rural communities who think PASSERBY might help them deliver more. Given the scale of work still to be done in alleviating poverty, strengthening education and providing the rural poor with a voice, Pencil weclomes interest from and partnership with government and non-government organisations, charities, research groups, corporations, foundations and any whose mission is aligned with ours. We aim to partner closely with all these organisations who provide expertise and essential involvement without which Pencil would be unable to deliver the benefit we aim for. Pencil also looks for investors who can help secure the financing to make Pencil's vision a reality. We are looking for investors with a track record both in technology growth financing and in social entrepreneurship to ensure that financial goals to ensure our goals are fully aligned with our shareholders. Pencil is not able to take investment from individuals who are not part of an angel-financing group.
